We’re Growing Our Own Birchall Forest

We’re excited to announce our new partnership with Treeapp, which has already seen us support the planting of 734 trees in our very own Birchall Forest in Yorkshire!

It’s another positive step in our sustainability journey, helping us give something back to the environment and make a lasting difference closer to home.

Our new woodland will feature a mix of native tree species, helping to create habitats for wildlife, improve biodiversity and support a healthier environment for generations to come.

We’ve teamed up with Treeapp, an organisation that helps businesses make a real difference through tree planting projects in the UK and around the world. Through our dedicated Treeapp Impact Page, we’ll be able to follow the progress of our forest and share updates along the way.

The idea was developed by our Business Administration Apprentice, Charlie Bennett, who said:

“I’m passionate about protecting our environment, so it’s incredibly exciting to see the Birchall Forest take root and create a lasting positive impact.”

And this is just the beginning! We’re already exploring opportunities to grow our forest, plant more trees and get our colleagues, customers and suppliers involved.

Members of the Birchall team will also be visiting the Yorkshire planting site on the 25th November to see the project first-hand.

We’re really proud to be taking this next step in our sustainability journey and look forward to seeing our Birchall Forest grow over the coming years.
